It has become clear that some media houses are doing all they can to report all they can about MMM. There are several reasons for this but king among the reasons is “MMM NIGERIA” is trending and some media houses in search of traffic will write anything about MMM because over two million MMM participants and the other millions that envy and disagree with them will want to click on the link.

Recently, a fast growing online media house (Pulse) sent mails to their subscribers about a scheme whose website crashed. Although the scheme is completely different from MMM, the online news media sent the mail with this sub-headline: “MMM website down for 24hours”. When you click on the mail, you will be redirected to their website and you will find it is about another scheme entirely. They just used the MMM name to gain traffic not minding its effect on MMM.

Clearly, this media house and many others are deviated from updating the public with truth. They currently specialize in writing according to their own agenda and promoting any news (even a lie) just so they can get click views. In the internet era, firms advertise with whoever has views even if they don’t have goodwill with readers.
There is news of MMM NIGERIA being owned by a South African based Nigerian pastor. The media houses even went as far as saying MMM NIGERIA is not related to MMM GLOBAL and Mr. Sergio Mavrodi is not even aware of the activities of MMM NIGERIA. To make their point valid, they referred to Mr. Sergio as a Russian Politician (a man they had previously referred to as a Russian criminal). They had to rebrand Mr. Sergio so that they can paint the South African based Nigerian pastor as a bad person and make MMM NIGERIA look bad. The pastor simply created his own website that links people to the original MMM website so that he can earn money from traffic. This has revealed the cosmetic research our journalists do. They couldn’t even research far enough to discover that mmmoffice(dot)com is visited by all MMM participants across the world. To dissociate MMM NIGERIA from Mr. Sergio Mavrodi when all MMM participants use the only valid MMMOFFICE is another proof of weak journalism.

Today, there are hundreds of schemes promising outrageous returns on investment or even donations. What differentiates MMM from these schemes is simple, the consistency in the face of massive opposition since 1989. Mr. Sergio Mavrodi was interviewed in his house and he clearly lives a simple life. No glamour or luxury. He wears the same kind of clothes almost every day. He even dressed in his polo and jeans when he was invited by top Russian government to explain how MMM works. He has participated in debates where he defended MMM. He clearly doesn’t live the flamboyant that you would have guessed he would live. He has been to the restaurant only once in his life. In the court proceedings about MMM94, the judge was stunned when all documents revealed Mr. Sergio didn’t spend any money on himself. MMM is not a get rich scheme. MMM does not promise outrageous returns. MMM states the risk involved in voluntary donation. When you read MMM warnings, you will wonder if MMM is trying to discourage you from participation unlike other schemes where there are no warnings and multiple accounts is allowed. They want early participants to make as much as they can and bring in as many people as they can so that they can elope with people’s monies.

MMM remains strong in China, India and many other countries. MMM has changed lives and positioned people for prosperity in what would have been the worst recession ever. Personally, I know at least 37 people who came out of debt and now make money in their businesses thanks to MMM.  If these 37 people had listened to negative talk, they would have remained deep in debt, out of business and completely depressed.
